The short version
Some links and booking tools on GozoLife are affiliate links. If you book accommodation, a tour, a flight or a hire car through one, the partner pays us a commission. You pay the same price either way, because the commission comes out of the partner's margin rather than your pocket.
Every one of them is marked Paid link where it appears, so you can tell before you click rather than after.
What it does not change
Nothing on this site is recommended in exchange for payment. No partner has seen a page before it was published, none has asked for a change, and none has been given one. If a bay is hard to get to, the page says so whether or not there is a booking tool further down it.
The booking tools point at searches, never at a named property we have picked out. We have not stayed in the places they return and do not pretend to have. Prices and availability come from the booking sites themselves and are theirs to be right about, not ours.
Who the partners are
At present: Stay22, Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Expedia, Viator, Discover Cars. Several of them are reached through one integration rather than separately, which is why the same accommodation can appear from more than one of them.
Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" and open in a
new tab. That tells a search engine the link is paid for, which is a
requirement rather than a courtesy, and it is applied automatically to
every partner link on the site rather than remembered one at a time.
Advertising
Some pages carry display advertising from a travel partner. It is bought by the advertiser, not placed by us in return for coverage, and it does not sit inside the writing. Where it appears, it is marked in the same way.
Why it works this way
Writing a page about a bay means going to the bay, and commissions are what pay for that. A guide that earns nothing is a guide nobody keeps updating, which is most of what is written about this island. We would rather tell you how it is funded and then be worth reading.
