What commission does not buy: a mention. Nothing is recommended here because it pays, nothing is left out because it does not, and no partner sees a page before it goes up. The property pages describe a market; they do not tell you what to buy, and anyone buying in Malta needs a notary and an architect rather than a website. The diving pages summarise regulations that change and that your dive centre is responsible for applying. Nothing on this site replaces a qualified instructor's judgement, a current forecast, or your own.
Conditions at sea
The live conditions shown on coast pages come from Open-Meteo, a free forecast service, and the verdict beside them is our own editorial judgement combining that forecast with the exposure we have recorded for each bay. It is a useful signal, not a safety instruction.
A forecast can be wrong, a reading can be stale, and a bay can be dangerous in conditions that look fine on a screen. There are no lifeguards at most of the places described on this site, currents around the headlands are real, and the responsibility for entering the water is entirely yours. If the sea looks wrong, it is wrong.
Accuracy and change
Every page carries the month it was last checked, and that date is the honest limit of its accuracy. Opening hours change, kiosks close, tracks wash out, buses are rerouted and prices rise. We check what we can and correct what we are told about, but this is a small independent site and not a register of record.
Where a page says something is uncertain, it means it. Found something wrong? Tell us and it gets fixed, with the date at the bottom updated so readers can see it was looked at.

We link to other sites because they are useful. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content, and their privacy practices are their own.

GozoLife provides this site on an "as is" basis and, to the extent the law allows, excludes liability for loss arising from reliance on it. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, because the law does not allow that and nor would we want to.
