GozoLife is operated by GozoLife in Malta. Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, the remedy is to stop using it.
What you may do with the content
Read it, print it, send it to a friend, quote from it with a link back, and cite it in your own work. That is all welcome and no permission is needed.
What is not permitted:
- Republishing pages or substantial parts of them, on a website, in an app, or in a printed guide, whether or not we are credited.
- Bulk extraction of the content or the underlying data to build a competing listing or database.
- Presenting the content as your own, or as the output of your own research.
Text, structured data and original graphics on this site belong to GozoLife unless stated otherwise. Place names, feast days and public facts are nobody's property; the writing about them is ours.
Automated access
Search engine and AI assistant crawlers are welcome, and robots.txt says so explicitly. There is a machine-readable summary and a full text file precisely so that an assistant does not need to crawl the whole site to answer a question about Gozo.
Using those files to train on or answer from, with attribution, is the intended use. Using them to reconstitute the site elsewhere is covered by the paragraph above.
Accuracy
The site is written carefully and checked, and it is still a small independent publication rather than an official source. The disclaimer sets out the limits, including on anything to do with the sea.
Availability
We make no promise that the site is always available or error free. Live conditions depend on a third-party forecast service that can be unavailable; when it is, the pages fall back to the information written into them, which is the point of building it that way.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top is when they last did. Material changes will be obvious rather than silent.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not take away the protections of your own country's law.
